The attention of all the Principals of Junior and
Composite colleges is invited to the reference 1st cited, wherein it
is informed that the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P., Vijayawada
introduced the Ethics and Human Values as a compulsory qualifying subject
for Intermediate students from the academic year 2014-15. Accordingly, Board of Intermediate Education,
A.P., has decided to conduct the Ethics and Human Values Examination for all
the 1st year candidates (Regular & Private attendance exemption)
of the academic year 2016-17 also.
Further, it is informed that, “Ethics and
Human Values” is a single examination conducted in first year Intermediate
course only. The students have to submit
project work and write the theory exams and pass the examination to get the
pass certificate. If a candidate is not qualified in Ethics and Human Values
Examination he/she will not be issued pass certificate.
The Ethics and Human Values
Examination of IPE March 2017 will be held on 28-01-2017 from 10.00 A.M to
1.00 P.M (one day) as per the reference 2nd cited.

Further,
the following instructions should be
followed meticulously for the conduct of Ethics and Human Values Examination,
2017 in I year and II year posting of
Marks in College login provided by CGG and dispatch consolidated Absentee
Statements and Answer Scripts along with print out copy of Marks posted in CGG
website separately for General and Vocational Streams.

The
students have to appear for both Theory Examination and Project work
Examination. Maximum Marks prescribed
for Theory and Project Work are 60 and 40 respectively. A candidate should
secure a minimum of 35 marks in both Theory and Project Work put together. Suppose, if a candidate appears for Theory
Examination and is ‘ABSENT’ for Project Work or vice versa, he/she will not be
declared as qualified in Ethics and Human Values Examination. However, a
candidate will be declared as qualified in this examination, though he/she
secure 35% marks in Theory Examination and even ‘Zero’ in Project Work or vice
versa. It is mandatory to qualify in Ethics and Human Values Examination in 1st
year to get Intermediate Pass Certificate.
3. The Principals of the College has to enter
the marks both for Theory and Project work to each candidate in College login provided in the apbie.cgg.gov.in as shown below:

(Edit) after confirmation of the marks .
The
Principal should enter the marks online on or before 10.00 AM on 30-01-2017
. After that the facility of
posting/entry of marks online will be
closed.

After
completion of evaluation of the Ethics and Human Values Examination answer
scripts, the Chief Superintendents should pack print out copy of marks posted online
and handover the sealed covers to the RIOs concerned on or before 04-02-2017 and
the RIOs in turn should submit them to the Dy. Secretary (Exams) concerned in
the Head Office as shown under in a single consignment.

DISPATCH OF ETHICS AND HUMAN VALUES EXAMINATION ANSWER BOOKS

The
Answer Books of Ethics and Human Values Examination of General Intermediate Courses should be packed in LIGHT BLUE cloth cover for easy
identification. The sealed bundle of answer books should be handed over to the
Regional Inspection Officer concerned. The RIO should keep them under his/her
safe custody till further orders. Under any circumstances the answer book
bundles should not be sent to the BIE Head Office.

However,
the Answer Books of Ethics and Human Values Examination of Vocational Courses should be packed in LIGHT BROWN cloth cover for easy identification. The sealed bundle should be handed over to
the Regional Inspection Officer concerned along with General Intermediate
Ethics and Human Values Answer Books without fail. The RIO should keep them
under his/her safe custody till further orders.

The Principals are instructed to allow the candidates who are
not qualified in the Ethics and Human values examination even though his/her
name is not found in the award list.
Their name with father’s name should be included with the previous Roll.
No. / Admission No. in the blank award list provided and they may be allowed to
write the Ethics and Human values Examination.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
DIFFERENT COLOURED CLOTHS, VIZ., LIGHT
BLUE & LIGHT BROWN SHALL BE USED FOR
PACKING. THE BUNDLES SHOULD BE VERY LIGHT IN COLOUR AND THE ADDRESS OR THE
OTHER INFORMATION SHOULD BE WRITTEN WITH BLACK COLOURED PERMANENT MARKERS.
